How Bangkit Academy Transformed My Passion for Cloud Computing — #LifeAfterBangkit
I’ve always been passionate about DevOps and infrastructure. In my early days as a student at Universitas Syiah Kuala in lively Banda Aceh, I learned the basics of shared-hosting environments like cPanel. This laid the groundwork for my exploration of the vast realm of cloud computing.
Everything changed when I joined Bangkit Academy as part of the esteemed 2023 Batch 1 Cloud Computing cohort. It was here that my passion for cloud computing truly flourished. The #JuaraGCP events further fueled my curiosity and enthusiasm for this field.
I cannot express enough how grateful I am to be a part of Bangkit Academy. Not only have I gained invaluable knowledge in cloud computing, but it has also provided me with numerous opportunities to help others along their learning journeys. Whether assisting fellow cohorts or engaging in meaningful discussions on our dedicated Discord servers, being able to support others brings me immense joy. In fact, it led me to become a peer tutor — sharing what I’ve learned with those seeking guidance.
Throughout my time at Bangkit Academy, we covered essential topics such as web programming basics, computer networking fundamentals, and even certification preparation. This learning materials helps me to got the Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer.
The transformative experience at Bangkit Academy has shaped not only my professional growth but also instilled values such as collaboration and perseverance within me. From acquiring new skills to forming lifelong connections with like-minded individuals passionate about technology — there is no doubt that joining this remarkable academy was one of the best decisions ever made.
Back in January 2024, I’m so honored that I invited and attended the Google Developer Creators and Online Communities Summit in Singapore. In this event I have a sessions that talked about Developing Bot in Discord using Gemini AI. This was an amazing event and it so much fun! I met a lot of people from around the world and got lot of inspirational story!
With determination fueling every step forward, armed with newfound expertise in cloud computing thanks to Bangkit Academy’s comprehensive curriculum — I wholeheartedly recommend all IT students to seize the opportunity and join this extraordinary academy.
